Delegation from Uzbekistan Visited TATNEFT’s Enterprises in Nizhnekamsk

A delegation of the Republic of Uzbekistan headed by Deputy Prime Minister Gulomzhon Ibragimov visited the enterprises of the Nizhnekamsk sector of TATNEFT: JSC TANECO and the tire manufacturing complex of the Company on October 11 within the framework of the working visit to the Republic of Tatarstan.

The delegation included heads of such large concerns and corporations as JSC "Uzbekneftegaz", OOO “Neftegazinvest", JSC "Uzbekkhimmash" and JSC "Uzavtosanoat".

The cooperation of the Tatarstan oil workers with this Central Asian republic has been going on for several years already. In particular, the tires manufactured by the petrochemical complex of TATNEFT are sold in Uzbekistan. The plans provide that these business relations will be further developing in the near future.

The visit to Nizhnekamsk started with touring the production sites of the TANECO Oil Refining and Petrochemical Plants Complex, where all key facilities of the enterprise were demonstrated to the delegation.

Within the framework of the program, there was a meeting held with participation of Albert Karimov, Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan - Minister of Industry and Trade, Nail Maganov, General Director of PJSC TATNEFT, Rais Khisamov, Chief Geologist - Deputy General Director of PJSC TATNEFT and Alexander Babynin, General Director of OOO “INKO-TEK”.

Azat Zaripov, Deputy Director of TatNIPIneft Institute, spoke with the presentation of TATNEFT's activities at the meeting. In his report, he addressed the subjects of the Company's production digitalization, production of high-viscosity oil, import substitution and areas for the TATNEFT’s scientific development.

Albert Wafin, Sector Head of the PJSC TATNEFT’s modeling center, introduced the application of digital models to improve the efficiency of field development.

Ilshat Salakhov, Deputy General Director for Technical Support and Quality of JSC TANECO, told the members of the delegation about the operation of the TATNEFT’s new oil refining complex. He dwelled in detail on the technologies introduced in the production, products output at the enterprise and the prospects for the development of the plant.

Alexander Babynin presented the already introduced and promising engineering developments of OOO “INKO-TEK” (from the moment of the concept admission to commissioning), accumulated by the company in the field of oil refining.

Then the participants of the event visited the Nizhnekamsk SSC tire factory, which manufactures new generation solid-steel cord tires. At the enterprise, the hosts demonstrated to the guests the automated processes of weighing ingredients and rubber mixing, rubberizing the metal cord, production of tire parts and their final assembly, performed on the high-precision equipment with minimal involvement of machine-operators. The delegation was particularly interested in the processes of tire vulcanization, "cooking" of tires and extracting them from the mold.

At the end of the visit, Gulomzhon Ibragimov thanked the hosting party for warm welcome and expressed his hope for further cooperation, which will have a most positive impact on the economic development of Tatarstan and Uzbekistan.
